Born and raised in China, Mrs. Liu is a lawyer with more than a decade of experience working across Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Lao PDR. She currently serves as Head of China Desk at GHP Law Firm, where she focuses on advising Chinese enterprises and investors on cross-border investments and projects in the region.

Since 2014, she has advised Chinese state-owned enterprises and private conglomerates on navigating complex regulatory and commercial environments across Southeast Asia, regularly working alongside local counsel to facilitate cross-border transactions and investment strategies.

Mrs. Liu has extensive experience advising investors, lenders, and contractors on transaction structuring, due diligence, drafting and negotiating transactional documents, implementation strategies, and regulatory compliance across a broad range of industries. She is known for translating complex legal and regulatory frameworks into clear and practical advice, enabling clients to execute transactions efficiently in unfamiliar jurisdictions.

She has been recognised by The Legal 500 for her expertise in China outbound investment and is ranked as a Recommended Lawyer in the Asia Pacific Corporate/M&A category.
