Mohamad Kadri is a Senior Partner of Guido Hidayanto & Partners and is the head of the firm’s Banking & Finance as well as the Capital Market practice. Kadri has more than 30 years of professional experience and is a widely recognized expert in banking & finance as well as capital market.
Kadri has been involved in several landmark banking deals, most notably in the merger of several local banks into Bank Mandiri, Bank Danamon, and Bank Permata as well as the merger of three Japanese banks into Bank Mizuho Indonesia.
Kadri is the firm's expert in State-Owned Enterprises. He has a longstanding experience since the merger of several banks to form Bank Mandiri in 1999 until restructuring of PT PLN (Persero) to establish the company's holding and sub-holdings. He is still currently participating in transactions involving State-Owned Enterprises.
Kadri advises on a full spectrum of banking & finance matters such as debt restructuring, suspension of payment obligation (Penundaan Kewajiban Pembayaran Utang (PKPU) and bankruptcy, corporate financing (syndication and domestic), derivatives & structured finance, hybrid financing and acquisition, and banking regulatory compliance. In capital markets, Kadri advises clients in public mergers and acquisition (M&A) transactions, and advising on compliance matters such as affiliated transaction, material transaction, conflict of interest, public disclosure, mandatory/voluntary tender offer, rights issues, private placement, etc.
Kadri is a member of Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI) and currently serves as the a member of the Advisory Board of the Indonesian Capital Market Legal Consultants Association (Anggota Dewan Penasihat Himpunan Konsultan Hukum Pasar Modal), and is recognised as one of Indonesia’s top 100 lawyer by Asian Business Law Journal.
